The Sadler Tree Hand Cramp

So this was the final layout assignment of third semester. Five glorious shots of trees…many many trees… And then when you thought you had enough, you got to draw more of them! The long pan right below was a good 17 hours straight of work with very few breaks. A 17 hours I will never forget, and the smile cookie pictures will never stop haunting me. Well worth the insanity.

Assignment 2 LAYOUTS

This assignment was to copy the style we were given and replicate it. The style was based off the TV show; My Dad the Rockstar.

Sherluck Holmes Layouts (yes I know that's the actual name of the character we were given)

 Rough first layout assignment of third semester. We did these layouts based on a shoebox view of the room then placed the character; Sherluck into it.

Improvement?

So while I was cleaning my room over the break I stumbled across a drawing I did back in 2005. The one on the right is a frame from an animation I did this past semester in 2013. Apparently I like drawing this face when I can't think of anything else to do =P

New Found Sketches

I've realized I have a lot of old man sketches and this I ask; what sketchdump is complete without a skinny old man face? None, that's my answer. You'd best enjoy the old man face (that's the way we're all headed). As well this sketchdump has a lot of character exploration sketches I was working on last semester so a couple of them deal with the same character concept just slightly different looks.

52 Hands

Hands were my favourite things to draw when I was growing up. There's just something very pretty and elegant with all the poses that you can do.
