Final Third Semester Digital Assignment

For this assignment I wanted to go for something more cartoony. I wish I could've spent more time on this assignment but from the workload I had to pump this one out quickly. I may go back to fix some things and finish it off but for now this is my tightrope walker.

Enchanted Forest

This is a piece of my layout pan (which I realize now I haven't posted yet…(coming soon I promise)) that I painted for my digital class. Gotta love hours and hours in an artificial wilderness.

Sketchy Road Ahead

Some life drawings from this semester (NUMBA 3!) Can't believe only one week let of it and man I cannot wait. And oddly enough it went by so quickly. Each day was an eternity but the overall 3rd semester went by in a flash. Crazy things are afoot. But that's for another time. God bless.

 

Last Of First Year Layouts

Well after a long pro cress of scanning and cleaning these things in portions this is the last of my layouts from first year. Both these are projects from first semester actually the second and third layouts I have ever done. And yeah…. reallyyyy glad I can see the improvement in my drawings.

Helen Hardt aka The Queen Of Hearts Part B

This is the second portion for my character design class. I'm really starting to like this character because of all the attitude I made her with. Next part; MODELLING!! The section I've been waiting for all semester is finally starting. Next time you see this sassy lady she'll be in 3D!

 

 

Fury/Scaly Little Creature

This is my 5th digital painting assignment for class. I enjoyed this so much, I've kinda fallen in love with the little guy. That smile is just so adorable. It's a bat, cat, lizard mix that hunts small fish, insects and field mice. Its 6 limbs just make everything better. Also here are some of my process sketches (not all of them sadly) before I got to my final little creature idea. I would post them all up except at the moment I'm much too lazy to scan them. Enjoy.

My favourite animal of all time. They are truly remarkable creatures.

I don't even know how to explain this... you'd just have to witness it in real life. And no this was created a year before twerking was even invented so get that thought out of your head right now. I would not taint my blog with such idiocy.

The Prodigal Layouts

The layouts have returned to me! After being held hostage behind glass for a couple months my precious' have returned home. Each took many fond hours of my life away from me (and probably a couple years from the stress and sleepless nights) but all worth it. Low and behold my second semester layout assignments.

Digital Fish

3rd semester has begun and I can already feel the effects of drawing for long hours. It's an enjoyed pain though can't say I'd want it any other way. This is the first assignment for digital painting class, tonal study of a fish.
